Gypsilia's 17-year-old cousin was killed yesterday after being hit by a car. Please send your prayers for him and his family at this sad, sad hour.

Oh no. What a terrible thing. I really feel bad for her and her family.

I was just having this discussion with my 15 year old about walking and she is worried about crossing major streets because people don't look out for kids even in the cross walks.

Thank you all, I just got back from taking groceries and neccessities to the family.

It is just so terribly difficult.

Sorry to hear the news Lia, it's good your there to help them. When a tragedy like this happens to a family it's hard to even collect your thoughts.

Thank you every one who has responded, this has been a rough time for the family. The memorial is this Saturday, the parents opted for cremation, and because he died of massive brain injury, there was no viewing.

Prayers going up for the family and Lia.

Lia, I know the food is a blessing. When my dad dies we ate 3 chicken farms full of chickens. Big family, lots of mouths to feed. This is one custom everyone does where I live. Some dies and the food pours in. Your a good person for thinking of the families needs.

Thank you everyone. I have had a difficult time with this, and only today have I been able to focus on work for very long at all. I have a huge project to get done and I hope my concentration comes back.
