It's moving day.
Over the next 48 hours, Divorce Online will launch our new site. Note... there will probably be glitches. :)
Phase one begins now.... an all new He Said... She Said.
This has been a major undertaking and several months in the making. Please know we appreciate those who have stood by DOL and hope you'll continue to support us and hope you'll share the news with others.... We're BACK!
The new site will allow us to make faster updates and bring more articles and information online. The new He Said... She Said will give us the tools we need to continue to provide a safe and pleasant environment and all for better policing of spam and unwelcome posts.
This is the first notice of the re-launch and becausee of the extensive nature of the change, you will be required to re-register. We hope you'll keep your same handle and be respectful of the usernames of others.
As I said, we know there will be glitches. Please be patient. The new He Said.... She Said starts now... the new Divorce Online should be online in approximately 24 hours.

Looking forward to seeing all the changes. Thanks for continuing to make improvements.

My name was too short as well. I guess it's not a bad thing to update my user name since my life bears little resemblence to the time I first stumbled upon DOL.
It's a little freaky that DOL now looks exactly like another site I visit but like everything else, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

From other sites I belong to, rep points are awarded when you feel someone has given good information, says something funny, stuff like that. People get rep points when they do good things!

Just an FYI, we're going to stay in cruise mode for a little while... but in due time, posts made in the Off Topic section will not be credited to your individual users post count.
Barring any misuse of the Off Topic board it is our intention to keep it. But we prefer HSSS to be a substantive resource for divorce related discussions.

Not gonna happen. Had we been able to manage that, we'd have been able to transfer registrations. Furthermore, the old HSSS board had nearly 7500 previous registered users. Of course, several thousand of those could be attributed to 5 users.
Seriously, though... there is not intention of messing around trying to update user rank or the names associated with them.

The Yanks don't get all the glory! The Os beat the jillion-dollar Matsuzuka Sawx guy yesterday. Apparently the Os still thought the Japanese guy's alleged corkscrew ball (or whatever it was) was pretty impressive.
Spring training standings really mean very little, but it's good to see the Os in second right behind the Yankees, a half game behind. Maybe....just maybe...
